‘Frindle’ by Ke’Mani, Grade 5

I’ve been reading “Frindle” during tutoring with Julia. This is the dictionary from the book. My favorite part of tutoring is the book and game time.

Ke’Mani is a 5th grader who attends Cluster Tutoring in Oak Park. She’s good at dancing and flipping. A family activity she likes is going to a hotel. Ke’Mani has a special friend named Abigail. They have been friends since kindergarten. Ke’Mani says that Abigail is “funny and nice.”
