This poem was written by high school freshman, Elijah, with a “Seasons” theme in mind:
Everyone is jolly.
Everyone is happy.
It’s a holiday on its way,
We call this Christmas.
Don’t be mad. Let’s be happy. It’s time to have fun.
Just look at the stars
And wish what you want.
So come along for Christmas fun and jolly joy.
I am happy, how about you? Do you get the Christmas flu?
No time to worry.
No time to hurry.
It’s time to relax
Be thankful and be glad.
Never be mad never be lonely.
You have a family that loves you,
So I give this card
To say MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL THE HAPPY FAMILIES.
